Ahonen performs Alban Berg Chamber Concerto with violinist Sophie Schafleitner at the Wiener Konzerthaus on March 18th. Stefan Asbury conducts Klangforum Wien. The concert is part of the Festliche Tage Alter Musik, a festival focusing on works composed between 1900-1950. Ahonen also appears on March 19th, performing Leo Ornstein Poems of 1917, and on April 3rd with solo works by Ohana and Koechlin, Bartok Sonata for 2 pianos and percussion and Ives Largo for violin, clarinet and piano.
