Campaign prolonged until January 15 2021!
Folks, it’s lockdown 2 in Austria and the freelance musicians are hit hard. As a gesture of solidarity there are 50 signed copies of 2 CDs of mine to be sold – after the deduction of postal costs the sum will be directed to IGFM in full. By buying a CD you help me support the newly founded Austrian Association of Freelance Musicians.
The CDs are
L. v. Beethoven Diabelli Variations op. 120 on 1836 J.B.Streicher fortepiano
C. Ives Piano Sonata nr. 2, “Concord” & Violin Sonata nr. 4 with Pekka Kuusisto
How to order? Mail me joonas@joonasahonen.com
– which CD
– number of copies
– the address you’d like to receive them
and you’ll get back a confirmation email with information how to pay. The CDs will be sent once a week.
The campaign will run until the 50 copies are gone or until January 15 2021.
The prices are 22€ (EU, UK, Switzerland) and 25€ for the rest of the world including postal costs.
What is IGFM? Interessensgemeinschaft Freie Musikschaffende is the Austrian Association of Freelance Musicians. https://igfmoe.at/en/igfm-interest-advocacy-freelance-musicians/
I think it was desperately needed. This is one of the positive developments since the crisis started – finally there is an organisation representing us! If you are a freelance musician living in Austria, please join. If you are not, you may join as a supporting member. https://igfmoe.at/en/memberships/
If you have no interest in my CDs nor supporting IGFM, please consider supporting freelance musicians or their organisations in the country you live!
