In July and August Ahonen appeared in seven concerts at Musikdorf Ernen and another seven times at Kuhmo Chamber Music Festival. In between Ahonen performed Crumb’s Makrokosmos I at Salzburg Festival receiving enthusiastic reviews on Salzburger Nachrichten, Süddeutsche Zeitung and Die Presse. The latter writes
